Pouches
The wine pouches are pre-sealed. Wine is poured into the spout – each pack comes with a funnel. Then the cap is fastened firmly till it clicks, creating an airtight seal.
The wine pouches are made from multi-layers of films to ensure barrier and shelf life is maintained. They fall under a recycle code 7, which means can only be industrially recycled.
Winesave
Winesave stores high-quality, food-grade argon gas under pressure which when dispensed into an opened bottle preserves the wine by forming an inert barrier that stops spoilage from oxygen, without affecting the characteristics of the wine.
The canisters are advertised as lasting for up to 150 uses – this assumes the traditional use of spraying to partial bottles. Pouches only require a tiny spray.
