- We can work with to personalise the appearance and experience.
- The most common and simplistic approach is applying stickers to the pouches and the tasting packs.
- Co-branding with blindfaith.online and your logo is our default offering, but we can agree pricing for you to own the look and feel entirely.
Shelf life
- We are supplied by one of Europe’s leading food packaging suppliers. The pouches are made from multi-layers of films to ensure barrier and shelf life is maintained.
- We have tested with a broad selection of wine styles over fixed time periods to gain confidence in preservation. Opening a fresh bottle to compare against at different stages, we found wines in the pouches to present consistently with the control bottle for up to 14 days.
- Thereafter some expression and freshness is gradually lost, but the wines retain structure and varietal qualities for a month, or more.
- Testing is ongoing with growing confidence.
- Shelf life for fortified wines and spirits significantly longer.
Pouch/pour sizes
- We use a peristaltic pump technology. This lab equipment is designed for dispensing repeated doses of liquid with 99.5% accuracy to the ml.
- We stock three different pouch sizes..
- Standard pouches (up to 100ml) – our choice for our tasting services. At home with 70ml. Will accommodate up to 100ml
- Small pouches (up to 50ml) ideal for 50ml tasters or 25ml spirit pours
- Large pouches (up to 250ml) – ideal for group tastings, or a more social experience
- You will need to factor 50ml wastage per bottle for our solution. This covers sampling for taint/faults, sediment/deposits, ullage, spillage, residual liquid in pump tubing.
Recycling
- We are supplied by one of Europe’s leading food packaging suppliers. The pouches are made from multi layers of films to ensure barrier and shelf life is maintained.
- The pouches fall under a recycle code 7, which means can only be industrially recycled.
